Stopped by and had a salad, portion was good and very satisfying. Fresh ingredients and really delicious, not the kind of salad that feels boring or skimpy. Every meal i tried at the different restaurant has been consistently good! Service was friendly and attentive. On the day of my visit they also had a DJ playing, which made the place feel lively and fun without being overwhelming. Great spot if you want good food in a vibrant atmosphere at Greenbelt.

Stopped by Sibol after dinner just for a drink. Had a rum and coke and a beer — prices were reasonable and fair for the area. The music was played quite loudly at first, and some seats are directly in front of the speakers, which can be a bit intense. Later in the evening there was live music, which was actually very nice and created a good vibe. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the visit. The crowd was a good mix of locals and tourists, giving the place a lively but still relaxed atmosphere. Overall, a good spot for evening drinks and live music, just be mindful of where you sit if you prefer it a bit quieter.

Ordered the fresh tuna poke bowl. Food was served fast and good in terms of taste, better than the other bowls I’ve tried in Siargao aside from Tiburon. Owners need to do a refreshed test of their bestsellers as the carrot filler serving was excessive, downplaying the tuna proportion (which was pretty good!) and the rest of the components. The highlight of the place was really the staff as everyone was kind and even gave recommendations on food pairings and other restaurants to try (of course, after inviting us back first for cocktails at night). Shoutout especially to Melvin, who was our main server and really kept us engaged

El Union Coffee is more than just a cafe; it’s a La Union landmark. Recently recognized as one of the world’s top coffee shops, it captures the "surf-town-cool" aesthetic. The Signature Drink: You can't leave without trying the Dirty Horchata. It’s a creamy, cinnamon-spiced rice milk drink topped with a shot of espresso—refreshing, and unique. The Vibe: It’s an open-air, multi-level space with industrial-tropical décor. It’s the best spot for people-watching, though it gets very busy on weekends. The Trade-off Because it’s so popular, expect long queues during peak hours. I had a not-so perfect experience as my order didn’t get queued so the wait time was longer than usual. If you want a peaceful experience, try visiting on a weekday morning. Regardless, El Union remains a must-visit destination in Elyu.

Atmosphere-wise, it looks chill and I like the aesthetic they're going with. The random doodles on a paper all over the counter was a cute touch which I found very endearing. Service is great too as coffee is being prepared as your order. Kakatapos ko palang magbayad, andyan na agad yung order which is 5/5 if you're on a rush. However, the coffee we tried were all watered down and we ordered 5 different flavors and not one hit the spot😭. Grilled cheese was okay and the 'cheese pull' was present hehe. A little bit on the pricier side too. Overall, I would not recommend if you're going in for pure coffee experience but would suggest it if you're in for the 'vibe' and experience.

Always satisfying, always familiar in the best way—the kind you crave after a long day. The vibe is relaxed, unpretentious, and welcoming, and the people make it even better. Special mention to Japs, who honestly feels like the face of the restaurant for us. Always attentive, always warm, and genuinely makes you feel taken care of. This isn’t just a neighborhood restaurant—it feels like home every time we walk in. And that’s rare. Comfort food, great energy, and even better people. We’ll keep coming back. Always.

Let me get straight to the point: the matcha was not it. Yes, I am aware that with the name "Single-Origin" as a cafe, I should be focusing on the coffee aspect but sorry guys, I just love matcha alot and the matcha here was not it. It doesn't mean that it's bad, it was just okay. The matcha prescence ws there but it was more milk than matcha. It's reminiscent of a Starbucks Matcha Latte so if you like that, you might like this. Other than that, the staff was absolutely lovely, the desserts we got were great (bannoffee and pecan pie), ambience on a Wednesday night was superb, but matcha? Get their coffee instead.

Awesome spot right on the beach with palm trees and a perfect view of the Cloud 9 Surf Area. The food and drinks are really good, the pizzas, shakes and cocktails are always fresh and super tasty. The prices are very fair, especially for this location. On weekends they also have a great deal: from 4 to 8 pm you get a free cocktail when you order a pizza, that’s the perfect Combo :) The staff is very friendly and nice. On top of that, there are DJs playing every weekend, bringing great vibes with relaxed, cool music. It’s the perfect place to chill, have a drink, and enjoy the sunset :)

Must try. Good food and good service, but their kimchi tasted dull but all in all it’s a good restaurant to eat.

If you need a quick fix when you’re hungry, check this place out. The service is fast, and the food is affordable. We tried their tapa, and it was worth it. The place is small and located along an alley, but it’s one of the recommended spots on social media. There’s also a sign reminding customers to return their bowls after eating.

Came here solo and sat at the counter, which let me watch the kitchen, a great experience in itself. The space is clean and minimalistic, with music at just the right volume to enjoy the atmosphere without being overwhelmed. Service fast and attentive. The menu is excellent, with a nice selection of local beers. I started with the miso tuna tartare; beautifully textured and a real firework of spices. For the main, I had the pork kare curry, which was outstanding: incredibly soft and juicy without being greasy. Honestly, the best pork I’ve had since Kagoshima. Skipped desert for a whiskey sour, bit more on the fresher side, but with real egg white and a perfect finish.

I’ve found my new favorite restaurant!! Your Local, a Michelin-recognized spot here in Makati. The noodles were outstanding(beef udon goreng)!! perfect texture, deeply flavorful, and honestly the highlight of the meal. The donburi was comforting and well balanced, the lamb pares was rich and satisfying, and the pork chashu bbq was tender and full of flavor. Even the drinks were thoughtfully done. Everything felt intentional, refined, and worth coming back for.

Best pizza on Siargao, perfectly cooked, amazing flavors. • Aligue Pasta: Totally decadent, rich, and unforgettable. Order it. • Aperol Spritz: It's solid, just your standard, refreshing 'it's okay' classic spritz (thankfully without the weird peach additions!). Come for the food, stay for the vibe. A non-negotiable stop in Siargao! PS: tried honey mustard chicken wrap it’s a no for me (a bit bland). Fries was excellent! For thr truffle chips, it’s ok nothing fancy.

They say Kermit has the best pizza in Siargao, but for me, the dough was just okay. It was too sour and tasted over-proofed you can really taste the gas, which means it wasn’t properly fermented. The place itself is nice though, with a good ambiance and friendly servers. Overall, it was okay. Would I recommend it? Maybe, if there’s some improvement by the time I come back.

Loved our experience at Mamou! The food was amazing — the steak was incredibly flavorful and the sides were just as good. Definitely worth the price. Our server Mervz was super friendly and even asked if we were celebrating anything. We said not today, but that our birthdays were last Nov 13 and 15. And still, they surprised us with slices of cake in the middle of dinner. Such a thoughtful and sweet gesture! Little things like that really made the night special. We’ll definitely be back! 🎂🫶🍽️

My recent visit to Yardstick Coffee was unfortunately a letdown, leaving me confused about the cafe's hype. The cafe was quiet and empty, but not in a peaceful way. The overall vibe felt unwelcoming. There was no clear signage or indication of where to order, and upon entering, the staff did not offer any guidance or a friendly greeting. I ordered the Sweet Matcha. While the taste was "just okay," the most disappointing factor was the serving size and lack of options. They only offer one size, and it was noticeably small—even smaller than a Starbucks Tall cup. Given the pricing, the value proposition was immediately poor. The service was a major issue. The staff were not friendly or smiling at all, which contributed heavily to the unwelcoming atmosphere. The lack of proactive guidance on where to order made me feel like an inconvenience rather than a customer. For the small serving size and the overall quality of both the drink and the experience, the prices were very expensive. The cost does not match the poor service and tiny portions. I honestly don't understand the hype surrounding this coffee shop. The combination of unfriendly service, an unwelcoming atmosphere, and an expensive, undersized drink made this a bad experience. I will not be returning or recommending it.

Great coffee! Went here on a recommendation from a well known coffee shop in Sydney Australia (Diggy Doos) and am very glad I did 😊 This place has delicious coffee, and the waffles had the perfect balance of crunch & melt-in-your-mouth softness. Highly recommend this place to fellow coffee snobs who value good (Australian-level) quality coffee!

Great food for decent prices. We had the “small” squid which was still a very big portion and extremely tasty. The tuna belly was also very good and super fresh. The eggplant tasted fresh and was well marinated. Overall great experience with fair prices. Would definitely come back.
